*~Flower Power Hat and Backpack~*

My first two patterns and a sneak peak of how to make them!

My Pattern Inspiration:

The first pattern I came up with was the hat! My friend’s kid had an afro and needed a large poof cute hat to contain it so I thought why not flowers! When her hair grew out of it I told her to give it to me so I could turn it into something else she would love, a backpack! Now she takes it with her to school every week! That’s the great thing about crochet, just a little editing can transform something old to something new!

What I love about these patterns is they use basic stitches and you can take the colors in any direction you want! If you were able to do my Crochet Flower Crochet-along then this is just fine for you! The pattern is written out step by step and also has a symbol pattern for the flowers and how to connect them together! Along with my video tips and tricks you should have no problem creating this so check it out!
