*~Crochet Flower Bouquets~*

Say goodbye to wilted flower messes and boring foliage. Hello Crochet!

I absolutely love flower bouquets! Who doesn’t right? Maybe people with allergies but HAHA! Problem solved! Crochet Flower Bouquets!!

I am not a fake flower lover, boring, plastic-y, it’s just not my thing. Crochet bouquets though…that’s something I could fall in love with. There are thousands of flower patterns online so make whatever flowers you like and use this tutorial to turn them into the most beautiful bouquet ever!

I have some basic flower + leaf patterns below to get you started as well!

If you are a beginner and watched my How To Crochet Flowers Video Crochet-Along, this is not harder, in fact, I used the same challenge flower and turned it into a bouquet flower in the video!

The most important thing in making a beautiful bouquet is consistent stitches, good quality yarn, and the right materials.

Materials Needed:

Yarn: I recommend between 2ply (Light sports) to 4ply (Worsted) weight yarn for the flowers and leaves. For my flowers I used my own yarn I import for my use, a 3 ply Bamboo Cotton blend. It has the right shine and quality to make a beautiful product. (If I get enough interest I might start selling it here on the site!) Do not use low quality acrylic please…it is fuzzy and itchy looking. So many people think they are mediocre crocheters because they can’t make as “Clean” looking crochet as others, but it’s the yarn people! Use cotton or bamboo or something with a nice shine and or twist! I tried Patons Grace recently and liked the twist and shine so you can definately check that out. Buy Here

Hook: This depends on the size yarn you use but for my 3 ply I used a 4.25 mm hook! I like to have a full variety of hooks on hand because I use many sizes of yarn for my flowers.  Buy Full Hook Set Here Or Buy Set of Larger Hooks Here

Needle: You always need a large eyed blunt needle for sewing in ends! Buy Here

Floral Wire 18 Gauge: This is used for the stems and holding the leaves. Buy Here

Floral Tape: This wraps around the stem to hide the wire. Buy Here

Wire Cutters: For cutting the wire (You can use scissors but it will dull them!) Buy Here

Pliers with bumps: For bending the wire together Buy Here

Hot glue gun: For attaching the Sepal (Optional) Buy Here
